salesdrive - first audio magazine
for sales professionals

In autumn 2008 dieleutefürkommunikation launched salesdrive, the audio magazine for sales professionals, in co-operation with St. Gallen University. The idea: thanks to the audio magazine sales representatives and employees can now use their frequent car journeys to remain reliably informed about a whole range of sales topics. On the CD which is issued four times a year, listeners find an appealing blend of expert features, interviews and instruction.

  • Audio-appropriate, i.e. information presented in an entertaining and easily comprehensible manner.
  • Bridge the gap between theory and practice.

  • Definition of emphases for the individual editions.
  • Creation of editorial concepts for each edition.
  • Close co-operation with St. Gallen University on the compilation of suitable articles.
  • Listener-friendly editing of expert features.
  • Preparation and holding of interviews with experts and practitioners.
  • Common thread for listeners provided by presenter.

Special features

  • salesdrive is an audio magazine and has more in common with a radio programme than a conventional audio book. Listening while driving is no problem thanks to the easily comprehensible nature of the content and the diverse blend of different formats.
  • salesdrive takes the attitude of sales operatives to information as its starting point. Listeners tank up on information as it runs in the background.

Quote

“I used to view the audio book idea with scepticism. On the one hand I like the idea of attending a book reading, because unexpected emphases often emerge. On the other hand I am perfectly capable of reading a book myself – I am no longer of an age where I need to be read to.
In the meantime however I have learnt to appreciate and love audio books, since I spend a lot of time at the wheel of my car and cannot read while driving.
In such circumstances audio books are a real bonus, because they not only pass the time, but I can even learn something at the same time.

To sum up I can only congratulate you on the audio magazine salesdrive – keep up the good work!”
